Briefing

Meyer Werft Papenburg Shipyard was contracted to build four”AIDA” class Cruise Ships. Two further options were taken up.

ACO Marine was selected to supply the complete galley water grease separation package and was tasked with developing the engineering, design, manufacturing and delivery of the complete grease separation system and ancilliary lifting stations and pumps. The system is 316 stainless steel system designed on the highest technical and reliability standard demanded by this prestigious shipyard.

Vessel description

The four new build vessels cost a total of €1.3bn. Two further ships were built and they each can accommodate 2,050 passengers in 1,025 cabins. The ships feature the many technical and interior design innovations. The well-known external branding design of the AIDA ships will be maintained.
