Briefing
Odense Steel Shipyard was assigned to build five ”Emma Maersk” class container ship. Its a class of the largest Container Ships in the world. After careful selection, ACO Marine was selected as supplier of stainless steel piping system. ACO Marine was assigned with complete engineering, design, manufacturing and delivery of the complete stainless steel piping system. The system is 316 stainless steel push-fit system designed on the highest technical and reliability level.
Vessel description
The Elly Maersk is the last in the line of the “”Emma Maersk” class container ship. Along with her sister ships the Emma, Evelyn, Eleonora, Estelle and Ebba Maersk she is the largest Container Ship in the world.
