ACO Tanks

ACO Marine can supply bespoke tanks  for most ship board requirements in both stainless and black carbon steel construction.

Systems such as fresh water, food, and waste water ranges can, at present, be built up to capacities 400m ³. ACO Marine may be able to offer larger tanks suitable to final designand production approval and evaluation with the customer.

ACO Marine welcomes the oportunity to discuss all specialist customer requirements and to develop suitable project feasibility studies. Whilst the preferred material is generally AISI 316 Stainless Steel as black steel with special internal coating is prone to corrosion.

Collection/Mixing Tanks

Collection/Mixing tank in various shapes and sizes, made from high grade stainless steel AISI316.

Equipped with aeration system consisting of starter box, blower, rota meter, pressure and throttle valve, manifold and aeration elements for aeration of wastewater collected in the tank.

Sludge Tanks

Sludge tanks in various shapes and sizes, made from high grade stainless steel AISI316. All horizontal support elements located on the outside of the tank in order to meet  ISO 15749-1 para. 8.1.2 requirements: The inside surface of the walls are smooth, and the use of internal stiffeners is limited only to vertical runs to reduce potential for sludge collection and potential H2S production within the tank that might result from any potential sludge deposit build up. 

Equipped with aeration system consisting of starter box, blower, rota meter, pressure and throttle valve, manifold and aeration elements for aeration of wastewater collected in the tank.

Tanks can be also equipped with shelf mounted pump for tank emptying.
